New Wine On Tap System:

New Wine On Tap System: Reduces Bottling!

Join millions of people around the world making a statement about climate change, eco-oenophiles can now use the new era of premium Bag-in-Box (BIB) wine–on–tap systems.

Choosing a premium wine on tap system instead of carbon-inefficient heavy glass bottles reduces packaging waste by at least 85% and carbon emissions by 55% without sacrificing quality. It saves green, too; a 7 liter dispenser of wine holds the equivalent of 9 glass bottles but costs much less plus new technology keeps air out and preserves flavor in for at least six months once the package is open.

Bottle one or two bottles of wine for comparison when filling the recyclable bags!

Wine on Tap
You don't have to bottle ALL of your wine ...
... now you can tap off a glass anytime!

Testimonials

I made my first batch of wine with Towne Winer, and I have to say that they made it a very enjoyable experience……they spend a lot of time with me to make sure that I was getting the wine that I liked and I was not just settling with anything

I continue to enjoy making wine at the Towne Winer and getting all my sponsorship gift baskets made up there.
The quality of the wine is superb and I’ve had many compliments. The baskets are always unique and contain both my TW wine and interesting wine accessories.
I heartily recommend the whole Towne Winer Experience!

Always great wines. We have yet to have a batch we were not thrilled with. Good enough to convince my wine-snob sister-in-law that non-commercial wines are not to be shunned! And there's generally a good conversation while you're bottling too!

Elizabeth Reemeyer, a Cambridge client and long-time friend of The Winer and Liz says what sets The Towne Winer apart from the other DIY on-premise places is how clean everything is kept.

"When you're making a food product, cleanliness is not optional, it's essential. The music is on, the expert is on-site if I have any questions. The Winer has great instincts when it comes to knowing what to do to bring out the best in a varietal."

The experts recommend...

Start your wedding wine making as soon as the menu is chosen - usually 6 to 8 months ahead of your date.

Make the experience into an event by inviting parents, the wedding party and friends. The job will be quicker and it is a great memory to share.

FYI

Picking a Wine Kit - Which one?

7.5 L/10 L kits: less varietal juice content and total dissolved solids (TDS*), most concentrate; to be enjoyed younger

16 L Premium kits: more varietal juice content and TDS; less concentrate; requires aging

16 L /18 L Ultra Premium Kits: most varietal juice content and TDS; less concentrate, requires cellaring

23 L Premium Fresh Juice format:  100% varietal juice, maximum TDS, requires cellaring

*TDS: the more TDS, the more aroma and flavour compounds the wine will have

The Winer can help you create highly tweaked specialty wines of great value: Gerwurtztraminer, Ice wines, Porto Corinto, Orange Muscato and Cream Sherry are competition proven styles that offer intense flavours and aromas for your appreciative guests at dessert time.
